MORNINGSTAR CAMS to Black Diamond data conversions

We have a process to convert historical MORNINGSTAR CAMS (formerly FCSI dbCAMS+) time weighted rate of return data into Black Diamond import format. We have successfully converted many CAMS databases of varying sizes and history lengths over the past few years.

The CAMS database should be as clean as possible and free from balance errors, rollup errors, missing price records, etc. Black Diamond uses Time Weighted Returns (TWR). If you historically reported Internal Rate of Return (IRR), you must switch to TWR under Black Diamond and potentially mix the two within certain reporting date ranges. A report disclaimer may be necessary. Notes, todo's and individual transaction, price or product records are not converted by this process. Black Diamond has a feature to 'view only' your historical CAMS transactions at the Portfolio and Account levels. Contact Black Diamond for further details regarding their portfolio system. Please contact us for more information regarding the CAMS to Black Diamond conversion process.

CAS Connection for RJTPD to EBix SmartOffice and MORNINGSTAR CAMS

This system converts Raymond James RJTPD backoffice client data into CAMS generic interface specification (.CON) files for importing. A beta version is currently in testing. Please contact us for further information.
